According to reports from an HLNSport journalist, the same outlet the confirmed the arrivals of Wesley and Marvelous, Aaron Tshibola is on the verge of a final transfer to Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian Premier League.

Tshibola was brought into Aston Villa on a reported five million Pound deal from Reading during Dr. Tony Xia’s initial spending spree which also involved Tommy Elphick and Ross McCormack. The former English youth international now plays his international football for the Democratic Republic of Congo having made the switch while at Villa.

Tshibola found it tough getting off the mark in a Villa shirt having only secured 10 appearances and scoring one goal. During his spell with the club, Tshibola also went on loan to Nottingham Forrest, MK Dons, and Kilmarnock FC. During these combined loan spells Tshibola had 63 appearances and 6 goal contributions with 5 goals and 1 assist. Tshibola was last seen in a Villa capacity on the bench during the 6-1 win over Crewe Alexandra in the League Cup. At this time the fee for the player is unreported.
