*Edit - While Villa have triggered the deal, this signing has not yet been completed as the contract is being arranged. It's more than likely to happen though. Original story as follows.
#avfc deal for Kortney Hause is not done just yet. They still have to agree personal terms with the defender. But as per reports elsewhere, they have taken up their option to sign him from #wwfc. £3m fee.

Kortney Hause was one of manager Dean Smith’s first moves, being brought over from Wolves on loan in January, with a reported option to sign.
As more details came out after Hause and Villa won promotion to the Premier League, it was just rumored that Villa had until Thursday, 6 June to trigger his £3 million clause. Admittedly, that's an incredible deal.

Now, it seems that Dean Smith does have plans for the 23-year-old at Villa Park next season. The centre back can fit in at left back as well, making him a handy utility option for Villa as they embark on their Premier League campaign. That deal? It's been actioned.

Hause would be the second ‘official’ signing of the day, with Aston Villa bringing in Jota from Birmingham City earlier today as a part of a deal seeing Gary Gardner leaving the club.
Still a busy week ahead for the staff and Aston Villa in what will be an incredibly busy transfer window.
