The word on the street was correct, for once. Aston Villa have completed the signing of Josh Onomah on loan after news broke this morning that he had been training with Villa ahead of a move.
This is a fantastic signing for Aston Villa, who have added another utility man to their midfield to fill in for Jack Grealish, or anyone who falls out of the side to injury. However, don’t let that discount the fact that Josh is a serious talent, capable of playing in the Premier League right now.
Our friends over at Cartilage Free Captain aren’t too happy about the move, and they want to keep Onomah in the team. This is great news for us, though.
Onomah spoke to AVFC about the move:
“I can’t wait to get started. This is a huge football club and I want to really make my mark here and prove to be a player the manager can rely on. I know that promotion is the aim and I am here to help us achieve that.”
What’s more, Onomah is ready for tomorrow’s game!
