Out of favor striker Ross McCormack is heading out on a loan move within the Championship.
The rumors had been swirling on Twitter all day and it is finally done.

McCormack came in with an impressive goal scoring record — and has not succeeded for Villa. The £12-million man did not make the trip to Brentford — with the Manager telling the press “It’s up to Ross to apologise and admit he’s done something wrong... He has to apologize to me and the team. If that happens we will get on with it.”
Nottingham Forest sit mid-table in the league — and host Villa on Saturday. So hopefully McCormack’s bad form continues past that match.
No word on the details of the deal (most notably how much Forest is paying and/or an option to buy). He will be with Forest until the end of the season, and beyond that is a mystery.
This seems to be the last business Aston Villa have in the window. Get used to this team.
