Aston Villa take first step into uncertain future after crushing play-off final loss

So. Here we are. At the end of the season, a fairly positive season, with almost nothing to show for it.

At the final hurdle, Aston Villa were no match for Fulham. Red cards? There should have been plenty, but it mattered not. Villa were unable to fashion chances, and then were unable to take them.

Still, life goes on. Villa now take their first step forward.
