Aston Villa rode a high into the international break by kneecapping Middlesbrough, destroying Nottingham Forest and slapping down Birmingham City. Dragged to victory by Jack Grealish and John McGinn, the Villa enjoyed a well-earned break.
Now, they return to league action against a down-and-out Blackburn Rovers who have found that joy, along with victory, can be quite hard to find. One win in their last nine has killed their hopes of a high-flying season, but they will still have a lot to prove.
A big thanks to Bennett Berry for creating all of our match-day images throughout the season. Give him a follow.
