Reading vs Aston Villa: Lineups, live stream info and how to watch Championship online

Aston Villa head to Reading in the hopes that they can build on their latest victory

Aston Villa managed to grab their first win of 2019 the other day by beating an Ipswich team that are still rooted to the bottom of the Championship table. Ipswich, managed by former Villa boss Paul Lambert were able to ‘give it a go’ late on, but couldn’t muster anything close to a serious threat.

So, with Villa’s first three-point gain of the year comes a chance to build and grow. A squad bolstered by some new arrivals will now head to Reading

Reading are starting to show signs of life under new boss Jose Gomes and should eventually find themselves clear of the relegation zone - barely. Still, they need to make improvements and fast. They’ll be looking at Villa as a test - but will also be taking inspiration from a Wigan side that hammered the Villa just a few weeks back.
