Reports are the Chelsea-owned player has made his decision

What a difference a day makes! On Monday all the press reports were about Tammy Abraham not being at practice and moments away from being recalled by Chelsea and immediately sent to Wolves.

Not so much any more —

Like Stuart James says — the decision is a massive one for Villa who have been banking on goal after goal from the striker. And it seems the player is enjoying himself enough to make the promotion push — and wants to continue to play.

Thanks to Yannick Bolasie for doing his party to turn Abraham back to Villa.

Now to temper the joy of Villa fans a bit — It is only January 8th. There is a loooooooooong way to go in the rest of this transfer window. So my suggestion is to keep expectations in check — we’ve been down this road before. If Abraham does stay — Villa have one less hole to fill in the transfer window and can concentrate on finding a proper left back. The only ones likely to be disappointed are Kodjia, Hogan, and Davis — who would have likely benefited (in terms of playing time) with the departure of forward.

Here’s to another 16 goals ahead for Tammy Abraham in claret and blue — and I’ll celebrate on February first.
