2019? It’s still not going great for Villa, who have yet to pick up a win (or enter a winning position) against a single team so far. It’s fairly bad, and everyone knows it.
Still, it can be turned around and Aston Villa seemingly have the right man in charge in Dean Smith, but he’ll have to beat the older ‘right man’ as Villa take on former boss Paul Lambert as Ipswich Town come to visit.
Ipswich are rooted to the bottom of the Championship table, and while there are some signs of life, Villa should be looking at this match as an opportunity to pick up a win.
A big thanks to Bennett Berry for creating all of our match-day images throughout the season. Give him a follow.
