What more is there to say? Aston Villa are going off the boil, and while the playoffs are a sure bet, it’s a shame to see Bruce’s gung-ho Lions on the wind down, but hey - maybe they need a bit of rest before the extremity of the playoffs arrive?

Injuries

Aston Villa will be without Jed Steer and Chris Samba, and it looks like Glenn Whelan and Neil Taylor will need to be assessed.

Reading are without a metric-ton of players. Yann Kermogant misses through suspension, while Jordan Obita, Paul McShane, Omar Richards amongst others will miss out via injury.
