Nothing like Aston Villa to surprise you, right? Who’d have expected that?
Who’d have expected any of this? It’s been a rollercoaster from start to finish and we’re heading for the home straight. Tonight, Villa take on Leeds in their penultimate home game before the regular season ends.
If you want some reading, here is a match preview that we did with the Leeds blog, Through It All Together. An open match thread will be up on site for you to comment in also.
A big thanks to Bennett Berry for creating all of our match-day images throughout the season. Give him a follow.
Also, please note that as of the 12th of April, Aston Villa matches will no longer be available on mainstream US television. ESPN have launched ESPN +, a subscription service where they will be sticking Championship games.

Reading Material
Choose your preview: We’ve got THREE for you. Statistical, a word with the opposition or traditional. A trinity, so give all of them a good read.
XV: Alex Carson spoke volumes about Villa’s charity work, after gifting second place to Fulham. Give it a read, this column is the best bit of Villa writing out there.
Injuries
Aston Villa will be without Alan Hutton, Jed Steer and Axel Tuanzebe while Birkir Bjarnason and John Terry are also doubts after missing the Cardiff match.
Leeds United will miss a legion of players. Pontus Jansson is out due to concussion protocols (fair play on that). Luke Ayling as well as Laurens De Bock, Conor Shaughnessy and Liam Cooper will all miss out as well as Eunan O’Kane AND Adam Forshaw. Finally Gaetano Beradi will also miss out due to suspension.
