Aston Villa prepare for do-or-die run in

After beating Sunderland, it’s now or never. Come on!

It’s crunch time, and every single point dropped from here on out for Villa is going to have a major impact.

Over the next seven games, we should have a crystal clear picture of this season’s outcome, but it’s not going to be straightforward. Games against Wolves and Cardiff highlight a fairly tricky schedule. Still, they’re at home.

After scoring against Sunderland, James Chester knows that Villa must be professional and close out the rest of the season in a business-like manner. Almost like closing a deal. Villa weren’t on top form against Sunderland, but still managed to get a win. Getting the job done will very much be a theme until the end of the season. In an interview with AVFC, Chester knows that Villa have to simply look after themselves and not concern themselves with the results of others. If they collapse, that’s on them. Villa’s squad is right to focus on itself, because it’s getting nervy, and it’s getting serious now, and for once, it seems like the Aston Villa players are excited.

We as fans still have a job to. Don’t forget that. We have to pack that stadium out, back the team and be there, regardless of the outcome of the next bunch of games.

Bring on Wolves. Bring on Derby. Bring on Cardiff. UTV.
