Robert Snodgrass is Aston Villa’s content king

For a player on a season-long loan, Aston Villa are certainly making a fair bit of use out of Robert Snodgrass. If you haven’t seen him wreck it on the wings for the Villans, then you’ve probably seen him on the social media channels, as the club look to make the most of the feel-good spirit around the side by increasing their content output. The West Ham man is a huge part of that.

At Villa’s last content day, one of the videos built from the day in front of the cameras was a piece in which Snodgrass commentates on Henri Lansbury’s goal against Leeds United. As expected, it’s genuinely amazing. The glee with which Snodgrass announces Lansbury’s strike is something to behold.

Honestly, just get the man on AVTV when he’s not playing.

He’s also Villa’s best performer on Drivetime - the in-car introduction to Villa players. Villa’s Youtube is genuinely worth watching because of people like Snoddy.

As good as Snodgrass is on the pitch for Villa, he’s a fairly big part of Villa’s off-the-pitch production, which is helping create an amazingly positive culture day in and day out.
