No matter what happens come the close of the season, it’s been one worth remembering, and a footballing season in which we have seen some joy at Villa Park.
Those have been few and far between of late.
With that in mind, it’s worth sharing the love. Aston Villa’s award for Supporter’s Player of the Year for this current season has been opened to the public. The club have made the voting ballot public, so anyone can put forward their pick
For once, it’s going to be a hard choice. Robert Snodgrass and Albert Adomah are my picks, but Sam Johnstone and Jack Grealish along with James Chester have enjoyed superb seasons.
John Terry could be in with an outside shot, and Conor Hourihane might have a shot.
That all being said, you can vote for anyone as long as they have started ten games for Villa this season.
You can cast your vote here - we’ll be sure to follow up and examine the award winner’s performance, and pick our own choices down the line.
