So, because Villa weren’t on TV today, we’ve went back to our old tricks to wrap up the goals in a post. Truth be told, we should probably do this anyway - but hey, because nobody can see the goals, we may as well bring the best of the action so far to you. Usually we’d have a post per goal, but they are coming thick and fast.

Firstly, we have Scott Hogan in exhibit A - burying a chance that Albert Adomah put on a plate for him. Way to score, Scotty.

Birkir Bjarnason almost stole all the plaudits for Villa’s second goal by picking out Albert Adomah with an absolute peach of a ball, but AA’s triple-a finish delivered a punishing blow to Wigan.

Villa had their lead clipped back to 2-1 by Wigan.

However, Scott Hogan pulled some magic out of the hat with a superb volley to extend Villa’s lead to three-one. That’s three goals, yes. For Aston Villa, yes.

Go follow Ollie Mc on Twitter who’s done all the hard work. Thank you, Ollie.
