After scoring a peach of a goal to gift Newcastle United the Football League Championship trophy on the final day of the season, it looks like Jack Grealish’s season is not yet over.
After being condemned to the international sidelines after arriving late to a team meeting, Aidy Boothroyd has brought Jack back into the England Under 21 setup ahead of this summer’s European Championship. The 28 man training camp will be slimmed down to a 23 player version and Jack will be hoping to impress Aidy to gain his place in the squad.
With James Ward-Prowse and Nathan Redmon returning to the youth team after senior caps for England, Jack Grealish isn’t a definite fixture and might lose out if he can’t find his way during England’s current training camp.
The England squad for the European Championship needs to be confirmed by Boothroyd before a UEFA deadline on the 6th of June, so if Jack makes it, we’ll let you know!
