Villa’s first half against Norwich on Saturday afternoon got off to a less than super start, with the Canaries having some substantial opportunities on goal in the opening minutes, but a moment of individual brilliance from Jonathan Kodjia has Villa ahead at the break.
Kodjia latched onto a loose ball on the right hand side, then cuts inside a Norwich defender to get the ball on his left boot and promptly smashes it into the top net in the 25th minute. This is already Kodjia’s 16th goal this season for the claret and blue.
