It’ll be just a short trip for the Aston Villa Ladies as they have drawn Coventry United in the fourth round of the SSE Women’s FA Cup. The draw was announced this morning and the match will take place on 19 February at 2 PM. The venue is yet to be determined.

Coventry United are in England’s third tier, the Women’s Premier League Southern Division, one level below Aston Villa in the WSL2. In WPL play, United sit in fourth with a strong 8-1-1 record. They’ve gotten there on the strength of 37 goals scored against only 6 allowed. Over the weekend they defeated WSL2 team Oxford United 2-0.

In their third-round tie, Aston Villa Ladies absolutely smashed Cambridge United 7-1. Cambridge have a 9-0-2 record in the fourth tier Women’s Premier Division 1 Southeast Division, but they were unable to cope with goals from Chloe Jones, Beth Merrick, Maddy Cusack, Mollie Rouse (2), Alice Hassall, and Chloe Dale. The last two scored their first Villa goals in the rout.
