The deal will keep Rushian Hepburn-Murphy at Aston Villa for the next three and a half years and will pay him well. Not only that, but once the young star is back from injury it is likely that he could feature for Villa’s first team in the close of the 2016/17 season. Steve Bruce is certainly happy about this as well.
Manager, Steve Bruce said: “We’re delighted to see Rushian sign this new deal.
“Rushian is highly thought of at this football club and I believe he has a bright future in the game. He needs to get his head down now, work hard in training – and the opportunities will come.
Football is a temporary job and prospects do fade, so it is understandable that Hepburn-Murphy would seek the best deal possible as his career is one bad tackle from being ended. However, it seems that the saga is over now and he can get back to playing football for Aston Villa, the team that will hopefully see him hit the heights he deserves to hit.
