Villa endured three matches in October - a derby loss against Wolves, a big win over Fulham, and a bore-draw against Birmingham to close out the 10th month of the calendar year.
So, without paying mind to the very positive win that came against Preston midweek - disrupting any negativity in the fanbase (and disrupting our monthly wrap up plans thanks to a fixture on the 1st of November following a game on the 29th of October), who was Villa’s best man in the month that brought few scares to the Villans?
October Star of the Month: John Terry

Villa had a decent October period - with a win, draw and loss coming before a win against Preston and a loss against Sheffield Wednesday. The reason Villa managed to do pretty decently in this period was because of John Terry. Terry has settled in well at Villa and the team will miss him going forward due to injury, but the big man at the back holds it down well and performs admirably in every single game he features in. Well done John!
Honourable Mention: Keinan Davis
Keinan Davis is earning all the plaudits, and that’s a good sign in a month where he wasn’t a goal threat. He links up the team well and really made big strides towards being a first team player for Villa. Good stuff from the man up front.
