So, things could be better. John Terry is out, Jonathan Kodjia’s injury has returned, Scott Hogan has a worrisome internal injury that is keeping him away, Mile Jedinak gave his all for Australia and will likely be unfit and Aston Villa ended their last chapter with a pretty crushing loss against Sheffield Wednesday. Yep. Things could be a lot better!
But they also could be a lot worse. Villa are away to QPR today and will bring a pretty stacked side to Loftus Road - even with their injury worries. They can still boast Chris Samba, James Chester, Birkir Bjarnason, Jack Grealish, Keinan Davis and Callum O’Hare in their ‘weak areas’ - all of which would be starters in every game for most Championship sides. Yeah, things could be a lot worse.
QPR are currently nestled in 16th place, but don’t let that fool you. A win today sees Rangers leap up and settle within two points of Aston Villa. What that means is that a loss, while not disastrous, makes life a lot harder for the Villans.
Here’s how you can watch.
As it is not a televised tie - this match will BE LIVE STREAMED on AVTV, for an international audience. However, for future reference here’s all you need to know compiled by Phil Vogel. Don’t forget to get involved in the comments section below!
