Oh, the newest of players. Far from touched by Villa’s toxins.
Ross McCormack has been doing this ‘Championship’ thing for a while. You see, he scored 53 goals in 143 games for Leeds United. Then he went to Fulham and smashed in 38 goals in 89 games.
Ross McCormack? He’ll score you goals aplenty and now Aston Villa own him, having brought him to Birmingham earlier this week for £12 million. That’s a small price for a possible promotion challenge!
Despite Ross having the best goalscoring record in Villa’s squad, he’s still got a lot to prove this year. Can he do what he did for Fulham, on a bigger stage? Villa fans will hope so and Ross will want to, so that he can prove that he’s not just a flash in the pan like others who have consistently performed well at the second level of the English football league system. Ross will want Premier League action and he will want to earn it with Aston Villa.
