Just before 5 p.m. local time in the U.K. Saturday evening, Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor posted a photo on his Instagram account with a cryptic message, casting doubts on his future with the club.
He's looked likely to leave ever since resigning from his position of club captain after being pictured out partying the night relegation was confirmed.
For a player that once showed so much promise at such a young age, it really has been heartbreaking to watch the Gabby Agbonlahor saga wind down the path it's taken.
In his career, Agbonlahor's scored 74 goals in 323 Premier League matches. That is factually impressive. Gabby's had a pretty good run at Villa, but it seems like it's completely in the past now. He only managed one of those goals and two assists in 15 appearances last year.
Why would Gabby be wishing the players luck if he wasn't heading for the exit door? What club out there is willing to give Agbonlahor a contract that he'd consider signing at this point in time? Let us know in the comments!
