With the new reinforcements of attacking options coming into the squad (and more to come?) one of Villa starlets could be heading down a league to get some first team time.
One possible destination is Coventry City, according to the Coventry Telegraph. The 18-year-old striker made two appearances for the team in the Premiere League — including becoming Villa’s youngest Premier League player in March 2015.
No confirmation from anyone has been made — but a lower league loan makes sense for RHM. The kid — who just turned 18 — has talent and may be called upon in January because of one of the hidden dangers of the striker force — the African Cup of Nations.
So we spent £11-15 million to relegate Gestede to the bench AND not solve our biggest personnel problem in AFCON? Sure.

As pointed out by our own Alex Carson this could be a problem, with Gestede, Ayew and Kodjia all possibly participating. But don’t worry Kozak & Gabby will still be around to play next to McCormack!!
Please come back RHM — and be ready to put the ball in the net.
