Albert Adomah, signed today by Aston Villa from Middlesbrough, will be joining his new club as an attacking midfielder. Villa already have Rudy Gestede, Ross McCormack, Jonathan Kodjia, and Jordan Ayew around to provide goals for their 2016-17 push for promotion, so Adomah will be expected to be more of a creative force than a finishing one.
That’s all well and good, but I’m here to get you excited about goals. Really good goals. Eight of them, in fact. I like them all, but my recommendation for the best of the bunch begins 47 seconds into this video.

This isn’t all to say that we should expect seven or eight goals from Adomah this season. He’s not here for that, and to expect it would be crazy. But if it does happen, don’t be too surprised!
