According to The Telegraph, Aston Villa are considering an offer for Tottenham Hotspur's Deandre Yedlin.

The young right-back burst onto the scene at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in a United States team that exceeded expectations. The mercurial defender was snapped up by Tottenham, but hasn't made much of a splash since joining Spurs. He was loaned to a Sunderland team last season, where he managed to impress on the odd occasion.

However, he could now be the man to solve Aston Villa's right back problem.

Yedlin is best seen as an amalgamation of Villa's current right-backs. Combining the determination of Alan Hutton, the physicality of Micah Richards and the ball playing ability of Leandro Bacuna. That can't be too bad, right?

Deandre still has a lot to learn, but can certainly add to the depth of an Aston Villa team that is currently crying out for more options and after the addition of Mile Jedinak earlier this week, there's no way Yedlin can detract from that.
