Villa loss sparks reports of burning trash

This could not have possibly smelled good.

Jack Grimse

Yesterday, Roberto Di Matteo's Aston Villa lost 3-1 to Luton Town in the English Football League Cup. But the atrocities didn't stop when referee Gavin Ward blew his whistle in the 90th minute.

It's just 84 miles via the M1 and the M6 from Kenilworth Road Stadium in Luton back to Villa Park in Birmingham, yet overnight there were numerous reports of burning trash in the surrounding area. Yes folks, we are talking about dumpster fires.

One such report was brought to our attention by email, courtesy of Neil Pipkin (possibly Martyn Woodhall in disguise), and it confirmed our worst fears.

It's not just any trash we're talking about here, but Villa Trash. Immolated, smouldering, hazardous material lit up the night sky. How did we know that this is true? Well, we got our answer in the email.

Your watching it every week.
