In the span of just one week Aston Villa have gone from feckless to Fox-less. Though, who knows? They are probably still feckless. At least we get a chance to find out when they take the pitch against Swansea!
Swans have not been great this season, and it seemed for a while as if they might be in serious relegation trouble. But two wins in their past three matches have them sitting on 33 points, 8 clear of the drop and a massive 17 above Aston Villa.
Villa have just been, as we all know, unrepentantly terrible all season. Their 2-2-6 record over the last 10 matches is absolutely atrocious, and actually accounts for 50% of their points total! That's not good! But they're still mathematically alive and Swansea (while recently revived) are still bad.
So yeah, it's time for the dead cat bounce of false hope! Let's get our hopes up and see if Villa can not kill them again. We've got everything you need to follow along below. And join in the comments, too!
Up the Villa!
