Let's be clear, it's tongue-in-cheek. I doubt ANYONE would wish for the death of Randy Lerner, it's just a distasteful song. But you've gotta think about Lerner's family in this, he's not done anything near deserving anyone wishing death upon him and this isn't really the best image for Villa fans to be projecting right now.
Randy Lerner's a bit of a twit, but you can't be singing about his death. It's just not right, even if it is a joke and especially in an age when people will make any excuse to vilify football fans, you don't want to give yet more reason to tar the good name of Aston Villa fans.
