Wait a second, didn’t we just play a match? How is it already matchday again? Are we in a FIFA Advent Calendar of some sort? Is this the Twelve Days of Matchmas?

Regardless, it’s match time! And this is a big one, as the in-pretty-good-form Aston Villa are traveling to take on the not-nearly-as-well-formed(?) Norwich City at Carrow Road. The Canaries were soaring high (bird joke) to start the season, but in their past seven matches they have six losses and one lone win.

And it’s hard to forget that in the dark ages since the abrupt resignation of Martin O’Neill in 2010, Norwich City have been one of the few consistent bright spots for Aston Villa. In the nine matches between the clubs since 5 November 2011, Aston Villa have six wins, one draw, and two losses.

So this is an opportunity. Get a leg up on and jump an ailing Norwich City team in the table and quite possibly springboard into the top ten. That’s what Steve Bruce’s side get if they can win tonight.

Oh, and it’s on TV. So here’s how to follow along. UTV!
