Aston Villa paid a visit to Brighton and Hove Albion and the Amex Stadium Friday night hoping for a draw. That would have been a good result against the team sitting in second place in the Football League Championship.
It’s been pretty back-and-forth so far, but in the 20th minute Nathan Baker opened the scoring for the Villans.

Albert Adomah whipped in a cross from a set piece, and Nathan Baker met the ball with an inch-perfect header into the bottom right corner of the goal. It was Baker’s first Aston Villa goal, and it comes at a great time.
