WATCH: Gary Gardner heads Aston Villa into the lead!

Gary Gardner, Villa trainee has scored his first Aston Villa senior goal against Birmingham City, in the Second City Derby at Saint Andrews.

You couldn’t make it up. It’s Hollywood.

And what a goal it was! A free-kick met his head, he outmuscled the brutish Donaldson and looped a marvellous header over the keeper. He couldn’t have wished for a better goal! My god.

The game is on for Villa now, who will surely be under siege for the remainder of the match as Birmingham get desperate for a goal. Let’s make it two!
