Photo: See the love between players and fans at Villa Park

Listen, there is almost nothing I love more that the Aston Villa Ladies team. AVLFC ply their trade (usually) away from the bright lights of Villa Park, but they’re excellent players who clearly love wearing the claret and blue. I’d give up some of the ability to follow the men if it meant I could watch the Ladies in all of their matches.

So when it was announced that Katie Wilkinson and Sarah Mayling were going to take over the AVFC snapchat account for today’s Fulham match, I was very excited. Katie routinely takes over the AVLFC twitter, and it’s always a hoot. But what I wasn’t expecting was a glimpse at the other side of the “fans love Villa” relationship.
