Welcome to the FA Cup, home of Aston Villa's most notable success (and most painful failure) last season. Today Aston Villa travel to Wycombe to take on the Wanderers in the third round of the competition. Relegation from the Premier League feels almost like a certainty at this point, so the least Aston Villa could do is give us a nice cup run to enjoy.

And if ever there were a chance this season to get a win, it would be against a League Two side. Sure, it's away. But even a bad Aston Villa team should soundly beat any League Two side. There is, however, always the Magic Of The Cup lurking, and when it happens to your team it doesn't feel so magical.

So let's have a decidedly un-arcane, magic-free day. Be boring. Win 0-1. Just win, for heaven's sake. Because losing to a club who have the nickname the Chairboys would be just depressing.

We've got everything you need to follow along with the match below. And join us in the comments!
