Antionio Luna struggled for much of his time at Aston Villa. He did, however, provide one shining moment, as he was played in through on goal to seal a 3-1 Villa win at the Emirates on the opening day of the 2013/14 season.

A tenure that started so brighlty quickly turned into poor performances, and soon he lost his starting spot, and faded into obscurity.

He was then sent out on loan to Italian sides Hellas Verona and Spezia Calcio, and regardless of Villa's left back problems, he was never recalled.

It is clear that he is not in Tim Sherwood's long term plans, and a new suitor has been found for the Spaniard.

Spanish side Eibar confirmed today on their website that Luna will join for the next two years.

Villa's left back problems, however, are far from solved, as no new signings have been brought in despite numerous links, notably the promising young Frenchman Jordan Amavi.
