In April 2014, Swansea's Jonjo Shelvey hit one of the best goals of the Premier League season when he volleyed from nearly midfield over the head of Brad Guzan. It was an absolutely stunning effort and since it didn't result in Villa being relegated, I don't think there is any harm in us watching it again to refresh our memories.
If you watched the Women's World Cup final tonight, you saw eventual golden-ball winner Carli Lloyd score a similar goal against Japan. It was her third of the match and it ensured that the United States would get their third World Cup title. Have a look:
When I saw Lloyd score the goal, I tweeted this:
Like Jonjo Shelvey against Villa.

But it turns out that I was hardly the only one who saw the resemblance. Indeed, the honor for best burn of the day goes to Brad Guzan's wife, who sent him this message:
That's just brutal, heartless, amazing work from Brad's wife. Perfect.
