Aston Villa 2015 preseason schedule: Nottingham Forest friendly added

Aston Villa have added a fourth friendly in England to go along with their pair in Portugal for the 2015-16 preseason. On August 1, Villa will travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest exactly one week before the season is set to begin.

The match will be a return for Gary Gardner, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Forest and scored four goals in eighteen appearances.

The trip will augment the two weeks Villa will spend in Portugal and will conclude the preseason that will also feature matches against Fulham, Bristol City, Swindon Town, Walsall, and Wolves.

With the latest addition, Villa's calendar is getting increasingly full, and the likelihood of a friendly at Villa Park is diminishing. Luckily, there are quite a few that shouldn't take too much time to travel to!

July 11: Open training session and friendly (6:30 PM) against Fulham at Estadio Da Nora, Albufeira, Portugal

July 17: Open training session and friendly (6:30 PM) against Bristol City at Estadio Da Nora, Albufeira, Portugal

July 21: Friendly at Swindon Town (7:45 PM)

July 25: Friendly at Walsall (3 PM)

July 28: Friendly at Wolves (7:45 PM)

August 1: Friendly at Nottingham Forest (3 PM)
