Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Cullen, Song, Nene, Cole, JarvisOne more win. Heck, two or three more would be nice. But one more win probably puts a bow on this season. Of course other results could go against Aston Villa and screw that logic up, but as things stand it looks as if 38 points would mean safety.
So all Aston Villa have to do is beat West Ham United. A team who have only gotten three wins this year, and a team who have looked pretty bad against any competition that you could label as "competent" since Boxing Day. Villa have, of course, looked fantastic lately. So expect West Ham to come out dominating with our luck. But if things follow logic rather than what we all fear this should be a day that Villa can romp around Villa Park, nab three points, and go into the final two weeks breathing more easily.
