UPDATE NUMBER TWO: DEFEAT! Well, David did an amazing job running with this, but unfortunately the image is not high-res enough to make a banner that is legible. So, we have to admit defeat. Regardless, thanks for your support. It was a fun few hours thinking that we could get something so silly at Villa Park. And furthermore, enjoy the fact that, for the first time in ages, Aston Villa have given us enough to have fun with that this was even close to happening. It's progress!
UPDATE: WE HAVE A BANNER! David Farris (@onetakedizzle) will be in town from the US and he's placed an order. He'll be picking it up tomorrow and bringing it to the match with him. That said! He ended up paying $107 for this, and I'd like to see if we can't help him out. I've sent my money ($25) and Jack has promised $10 as well. If you're interested (even if you can only chip in $5) we'd really appreciate the help. Let us know in the comments and we'll get you the paypal info to help David out.

I've just had a thought cross my head. I saw a few people yesterday tweeting an image I had made without attribution. And it made me really happy. Normally you want to get credit for what you've done, but in this instance, I want the image to become a cultural phenomenon. I want it to be the go-to image of hatred for West Bromwich Albion. I want it to take on a life of its own. I speak of course of my proud baby:
So here in Washington, DC where it is 12:42 AM as I write this, I am still grinning like an idiot over today's win. And I thought: how can we make Saturday even better? And I have a proposal. I have no idea how much it costs to make a banner, but if it is something you are interested in, I will send you the best-resolution version of that image that I have and you can get it printed as a banner for Saturday's match. It'll go well with the festive atmosphere planned for the Holte End!
And to make things a bit easier, if you've got PayPal, I'm willing to donate $20 (~£13) to the cause. If this is something you're interested in doing, and you can guarantee me that the sign will make an appearance at Villa Park, get in touch. Leave a comment below if you want me to reach out to you, or just email me: rlintott@gmail.com. Let's make this happen.
