Sherwood: Kozak to return soon and "be like a new signing"

Libor Kozak is involved with first team training and may return before the end of the season.

Tim Sherwood has confirmed that Libor Kozak is now involved in full first-team training and could be back "in another couple weeks." The Czech striker has been out since having his leg broken in January 2014. We've heard that he might return numerous times this season, but the latest comments are the clearest indication yet that we might see him before next year.

Sherwood said:

"Libor is back training with the group with contact. He looks very good. He's making progress. Hopefully in another couple of weeks he will be like a new signing for us... But he's certainly one who's impressed me."

With Villa's attack having scored only fifteen goals this season, any help would be appreciated. And before he got injured last year, Kozak gave every indication that he could be a very useful player with a knack for finding the back of the net. When he's fully healthy, I'd expect to see him start ahead of Andi Weimann and maybe even Gabby Agbonlahor. But hurry up, Libor, we need goals!
