Villa's anaemic backroom has today been given a much needed personnel injection with the addition of two new members of staff.
According to the official club website, Tim Sherwood has appointed Mark Robson and Seamus Brady as First-Team Coach and Performance Analyst respectively.
Mark Robson has had quite a long coaching career so far, having started out as Charlton's coach before ending up as Norwich's Under 21's Manager. He can also be found on the sidelines of the English Under 17 National Team, so it seems like he is certainly novice to the coaching scene and will add experience to the Villa training ground.
Seamus Brady's appointment as a performance analyst looks to me like a move into modern times for Villa, who did state they were searching for a Director of Football to analyse stats in the past.
There has been no news of an Assistant Manager appointment and I would expect that to come shortly after the Stoke game, if at all.
