Arsenal vs. Aston Villa: CONFIRMED lineups, team news, and open thread

It's time for revenge. It's time to put this season back where it should be. It's time for Aston Villa's oh-my-god-I-can't-believe-they-did-that moment of the 2014-15 It's time for Aston Villa to beat Arsenal.

I mean, it's probably not going to happen, but I can dream, right? The 2013-14 season started as well as it possibly could in this very fixture. That was the last time that Arsenal and Aston Villa met at the Emirates. Olivier Giroud did exactly what we would expect and put the Gunners up 1-0 after six minutes. But Christian Benteke answered in the 22nd to equalize and converted a penalty in the 61st to give Villa the lead. The icing on the cake was Antonio Luna, Tony Moon himself, scoring in the 85th to make it a laugher.

And it's not hard to argue that that match may have been the high point of the past year and a half. Let's do it again. Let's take the win, shock the world, and right this season. UTV.
