We're back from the break and it's football time again! Aston Villa get the tough task of heading up the road to Goodison Park to take on Everton, but after the draw against Manchester City, it's tough not to feel a little optimism. After all, if we can hold the league leaders for 90 minutes (and look competent doing so!) why can't we do the same against Everton, who currently sit in 9th?
This whole feeling of hope thing is weird, though. Villa are still favored by the bookies to lose, and we're all (logically) cognizant of the fact that even brand-new-and-amazing Rémi Garde can't do everything in his first few matches.
Nevertheless, let's enjoy the hope. Maybe Villa can get something from this. And at least I think we're in for entertainment. We'll take it! You can catch all of our coverage of the match here, and everything you need to follow along is below.
