Aston Villa's young starlet has today took to his twitter feed to say goodbye to the manager that gave him his first true chance at cementing a place in the Aston Villa starting eleven.
Grealish was first started by Paul Lambert, but the Scotsman seemed reluctant to play Jack, even when his potential was there for everyone to see. Grealish was given more of a shot by Tim Sherwood, who regularly started the youngster. Sherwood's relationship with Grealish was further displayed following an extravagant celebration following Jack's first league goal for Villa against Leicester City, when he ran half the length of the pitch to dive into the arms of Sherwood.
With today's news that Sherwood is no longer the man to manage Villa, Jack has placed a small message of thanks that seems to highlight his disappointment in the decision to fire Sherwood. You can see it below.

Of course, Tim may have been the 'people's manager', but the proof is in the pudding - Villa were not performing and the seemingly well liked manager will have to simply try again somewhere else. Much to the chagrin of people like Jack Grealish.
