There really isn't much more we can say about this match that we haven't said already. Or heck, that we haven't been saying about this team for weeks now.
But no matter how dire the situation around Aston Villa feels right now, a win or two could turn things around pretty quickly. Despite the fact that the next stretch looks as tough as any we could imagine, it's not impossible to imagine a surprise victory sprinkled in there. Get those, and add them to a win today, and Villa can break above the bottom three and work on making something of this season.
That, of course, relies on getting a win today. We've gotten well past the point where a moral victory is acceptable. A moral defeat of junk football that ended with Villa getting all three points against Swansea City today would be just fine by me. Just. Plain. Win.
Below, we've got all of the information you need to follow along with the match. And again, you can catch up on all of our coverage from the week here. Join us in the comments and let's all hope for that elusive second win.
