Adnan Januzaj loan move looks to be D.O.A

Unless Villa sign or ditch Tom Cleverley, Adnan Januzaj cannot move to AVFC this January.

After being the benefactors of one Premier League rule, another rule looks set to complicate Aston Villa's January transfer moves. As reported by Hereisthecity, AVFC won't be able to move for Manchester United's Adnan Januzaj in a short term loan deal until they make an action regarding Tom Cleverley's future.

"Premier League rules dictate that no Premier League club can have more than one player on loan from another Premier League club at any time"

Unless Villa sign Tom, or terminate his loan deal, Januzaj cannot move to Villa Park this month, unless it's a permanent deal (which is unlikely). Villa lack the funds to make a transfer for Januzaj, who is valued at around £8.8 million, so a loan deal would suit the Birmingham club.

If Villa do make the signing of Tom Cleverley permanent, the fee could be justified by enabling Villa to bring in the young Belgian on-loan. Even if it is the rumoured 7.5 million pounds, is it worth it?
