It's not a secret that Paul Lambert is a very divisive figure in the AVFC fanbase. A bit like Marmite, some fans love him and some fans hate him. It's easy to see both sides of the coin and managers, no matter how good, will always be booed on the back of a bad result.

Some Villa fans have went the extra mile and created a petition to get the Aston Villa manager removed from the position he has held since 2012.

"We as fans of the club, have endured three seasons of shame under Paul Lambert. His tactics and team choice constantly leave fans bemused and the current run of form is not befitting for a team of our history. The crop of players we currently have in the squad are capable of so much more than we are seeing, we can't score goals and our passing from side to side, back and forth is not helping us to overcome this. We as fans believe that things will never improve under Lambert, and are therefore calling for action."

Whether you love Lambert or hate him, it's hard to deny that he may have pushed some people to the limit on the back of a tepid entry to 2015. We've set up our own poll below to gather your opinion on the controversial Paul Lambert issue.
