Transfer Talk: Exciting young Villa winger

Jack Grealish isn't a summer signing for Aston Villa, but you should still get to know the player ahead of his time with the senior team.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

He may not be a transfer, but none the less he is a new face in the Aston Villa squad for the 2014-15 campaign. We aren't sure how much manager Paul Lambert will use the 18-year-old from Birmingham, but it's safe to say that every Villa fan should be hoping to see a lot of him this year.

We continue our transfer talk series by talking a bit about Grealish's past, including his exploits for the Young Lions of the academy.

He plays primarily on the left wing although he could be used as an attacking midfielder or second striker, or on the right wing as well. He would be most comfortable playing in a 4-4-2, a 4-2-3-1, or a 4-3-3 formation. We could see him as the central creator if Lambert/Keane use the 3-5-2 however.

How much would you like to see Grealish used this season? And where? Let us know in the comments!
