Transfer Talk: Does Lescott make sense for Aston Villa?

In a new short video series, Robert and I will be talking about some of Aston Villa's potential summer transfer targets. First up: Joleon Lescott.

Current Manchester City central defender Lescott has been linked with a move to Aston Villa in the past. This time though, the rumours have some reasoning behind them. City have been punished by UEFA for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations and ordered to pay nearly £50 million (No one knows where it is going to go). They are looking to make some moves this summer in the selling department, not something they are usually known for. Although Lescott has been a dependable player in his time at the Etihad Stadium, he didn't get regular playing time last season and may be looking for a move in his career that could see him garnish some.
