Swansea City vs. Aston Villa: Confirmed lineups

New, comments

Can Villa take a big step towards safety at the Liberty Stadium? Probably not. But you should hang with us and watch them try anyways.

So, with just 3 games left-including this one-and 5 points seperating themselves and the bottom three, here's a look at what Villa fans should be rooting for today.

Hull vs. Fulham: Hull. As nice as it would be to finish as high as possible, Fulham are probably the single-biggest remaining threat to Villa's safety and even a point would keep things just a little too close for comfort.

West Brom vs. West Ham: West Ham. Because of the relegation battle first and foremost, but also for...other reasons.

Man United vs. Norwich: United. See above.

Sunderland vs. Cardiff: Draw, with a Sunderland win the second most desirable outcome. The sooner Cardiff are eliminated the better (for Villa) and thanks to Sunderland's game-in-hand their odds of staying up are better than they might appear. Still, a point a piece would be ideal.

Other games: Go with your heart.

Also, Aston Villa are playing today, so you can talk about that as well I guess.
